Anhydride on reaction with alcohol give ester.

In first step the nucleophilic attack by alcohol on carbon of anhydride. Second step is deprotonation. Deprotonation is done by pyridine. After deprotonation the leaving group leaves and formation of ester takes place. Then by protonation there is formation of acid takes place.

The mechanism is given in the image
