Solution :-

The following image shows the products of the reaction for the first reaction scheme it follows the sn2 mechanism therefore gives the inversion of the configurations.

in the second reaction alcohol is converted to alkyl iodide the major product is the tertiary alkyl iodide and the minor product is the secondary alkyl iodide. (if ony major is expected then only draw the major and exclude the minor)
