The symboll of aqueous iron (lll) ion is Fe3+( aq).

The symboll of aqueous thiocyanate ion is SCN ( aq).

The iron (lll) ion contains three unit of positive charge while the thiocyanate ion contains one unit of negative charge. Thus the product contains two unit of positive charge.

The balanced chemical equation is shown below.

Fe3+(aq) + SCN(aq)  <—> FeSCN2+ (aq)
