Nurses are the healthcare professionals who spend most of the time with the patients . They need to be involved in every aspect of the care provided to the patient . Patients feel more comfortable to express their feelings ,doubts worries etc with the nurse than any other healthcare professionals because they take the care of the patient and spend more time with them . It's easy for the patients if nurses are involved in any of the health education , procedure etc because they have a therapeutic bonding with the patient and understand the patient very well.

Not involving nurses in each stage of the System Development Life Cycle when implementing and purchasing a new health information technology systems is a very big lose . Nurses are the core important component of healthcare system . They should be involved in every aspect of the healthcare system without any confusion . Involving nurses not plonly for the nurses but also for the other co-workers is helpful . For example in our institution for implementation of e- hospital nurses are selected as Nursing informatics specialist to educate and convey the training session of e - hospital because nurses are the part of the healthcare system who know about the problems they face while providing care and what all new advancements and implementation to be done to make their practice more efficient and effective .
