From given data,

Consider the following observed frequencies.Calculate the expected frequency for each observed frequency.

observed frequency table is

Population Yes No Total
A 10 22 32
B 16 26 42
C 18 8 26
Total 44 56 100

We calculate expected frequencies by : E = ( Row total * Column total ) / Grand total

Expected frequency of yes

For A and yes,

observed frequency = 10

E = ( 32 * 44 ) / 100 = 14.08

For B and yes,

observed frequency = 16

E = ( 42 * 44 ) / 100 = 18.48

For C and yes,

observed frequency = 18

E = ( 26 * 44 ) / 100 = 11.44

Expected frequency of No

For A and No,

observed frequency = 22

E = ( 32 * 56) / 100 = 17.92

For B and No,

observed frequency = 26

E = ( 42 * 56 ) / 100 = 23.52

For C and yes,

observed frequency = 8

E = ( 26 * 56 ) / 100 = 14.56

Expected frequency table is
