1). Gregor Johan Mendel is the father of modern genetics.

2). Mendel proposes 3 laws of inheritance: the law of segregation, the law of dominance, and the law of independent assortment.

Law of dominance: This law states that a dominant trait will always become visible if an individual takes over two dissimilar alleles from their parents and only the dominant phenotype will be visible.

Law of segregation: This law states that the two alleles will alienate or separated from each other at meiosis.

Law of independent assortment: This law states that the alleles segregated during the meiosis do not affect how the allele gets separated or we can say the inherited traits will inherit independently.

3). Law of segregation: This law states that pairs of alleles segregate separately during the creation of gamete and randomly fuse at fertilization.

Homozygous recessive allele | Your allele (AA) Аа Аа Your other allele (Aa) Аа aa

Your allele (AA) mate with recessive allele will give rise to normal (heterozygous) or dominant offspring and your other allele (Aa) will produce one normal (heterozygous) and one recessive offspring.
