For two hydrogen atoms (H1 and H2), the radial distribution wavefunctions are ψ1(r1) and ψ2(r2) and possible spin wavefunctions are α(1), β(1) and α(2), β(2). If the radial function of the H12 molecule is Ψ± = 1/(2)1/2{ψ1(r1) ψ2(r2) ± ψ1(r2)ψ2(r1)} then use the linear combinations (normalized or unnormalized) of the spin wavefunctions {σ+ (1,2) and σ- (1,2)} to write down the total antisymmetric wavefunctions of the H12 molecule.
