Answer #1

Introduction:-

Organization is a place where group of people work together or in a team to achieve a mutual goal. For a company, organization create value for its stakeholders which is the aim an organization works for.

Over the period of time there has been plentiful evidence, which says that successful organizations are managed by effective managers. Success in the long run can be ensured only through effective management. Successful managers foster sustainable growth through their ability, attributes and personal demeanor. Its difficult to adapt a change. The ability to change is the biggest differences between organizations. It's the reason some companies can introduce changes while others seem endlessly stuck in the same old patterns.

The potential obstacles that I have confront are:-

Organisational Barriers:-

1:- Conflicts:-A conflict over a subject is most likely seen in an organization but it is also worthful. Many conflicts provide the management the range of selective data, a profound intellect of the issues and richer set of potential resolution. The main reasons for conflicts may be personal differences with respect to perceptions and expectations. The company should force a response or have a middle way plan or can avoid giving response to reduce the adverse effects of a conflict.

2:-Work Environment:-Organizational work environment plays an important role in yielding an appropriate execution from its employees. Work environment usually consists of work supervision, pace of work, work time, job content, work stance and working movements. Several studies have revealed that work performed by individuals in the clean and hygienic area is much more fruitful than the work done by employees in the average and the untidy rooms.

3:- Gap in Communication:-The organizational barriers contains rules and regulations of the management, relationships within the organization and the complexity of the structure of the organization. The personal barriers to communication includes behavior of supervisor, lack of faith on the subordinates, lack of awareness of the individual. The factors such as the attitude of the workers and the lack of trust on the communicator are very difficult barriers to overcome. The attitude of the workers cannot be changed nightlong but can be neutered only through long term confidence on the management which holds good for improving the trust on the communicator.

Self Imposed Barriers:-

1:-Comparison:- I constantly compare myself to others in terms of either productivity or quality of work. By comparing one is pushing himself down. The risk taking ability also decay keep the mindset that he or she can do it better than you. So you just see other people achieving your dreams.

2:-Flawlessness:- I strive for perfection and due to this don't take risks out of fear that will make a mistake or won't do it perfectly. This is a self-destructive and addictive mindset with an unattainable goal, its not a matter of perfection but constantly keep trying because Practice makes a man perfect.

3:- Workaholism:- I work most of the time and hardly take time for myself. I think constantly working will prove my ability and meet the expectations of others. This results in personal life suffering. This might also suffer my career or job that I don't even realize because I would never have taken time for self-reflection.

Two of the references in regards to my problems are:-

1:-Conflict Management and organizational performance:-A case of Askari Bank Pakistan

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between performance of the firms and effective conflict management. The study ended that the conflict management strategies are important for the attainment and achievement of organizational goals and objectives. In other words, if the management is unknown in conflict resolution strategies, it will affect the performance of organizations negatively but if conflict is positively handled, it will heighten the organizational functionality.

Efforts should be made by the management to organize seminars on organizational conflict management on timely basis and most important versatile leadership on the part of management and employee representatives can be a strategy for preventing conflicts.

2:-Working Environment and its influence on employees performance:-A case of oil and gas vendor company in Malaysia

The purpose of the study is to identify the influence of working environment on employee’s performance due to the organisational changes that had taken place in the 2016 in company. Working environment factors can be defined in two parts physical and behavioral aspect of work environment. The study look into the influence of comfort level, furniture, technology, noise, airing, inflammation, communication, superior support and job aid on an employee’s job performance.

From the findings, it was clear that the working environment has a significant positive impact on the performance of an employee. The management should identify ways to get the employees to feel motivated and create a positive and comfortable place for work.
