Answer #1

Both have high customer contact with operation

In a manufacturing process, usually we do not have high contact with customers and operations. Consider the manufacturer of your laptop. It is unlikely that you will be able to direct the manufacture to make your laptop in a certain way. Thus their operation is often not in contact with the customer. On the other hand, services are usually high contact. A plumber service usually comes to your house and fixes your pipes. All the while you may ask him/her about what is happening and why it is happening. You may also direct him/her to work in a certain way.
