Answer #1

The treatment measures which have been proven to be effective for individuals with addiction includes detoxification where the withdrawal symptoms are treated specifically and in an in patient setting to prevent relapse. Consent plays a major role in this process and it must be valid . The second intervention is behavior theraoy and group intervention such as in the case of support groups and targeted therapies. Pairing the pleasant stimulus (the drug) with an uncle response is also used along with treatment. Multidimensional family therapy and counselling must go hand in hand with these therapies. In terms of etilology , it works by reducing the craving for the drug and also taking into account the stressors that cause the intake of the drug. It analyses the root cause of the problem to provide specific care.
