HIV is able to integrate itself into host genome As HIV virus fuses with the host cell along with conversion of viral RNA to double stranded DNA and it attack on host cell machinery to replicate itself. When this integrated viral DNA is transcribed the RNA genome and the template required for translation of protein is made.
