5.The best way to proceed further are

• First help the patient bathe and take him to the bed
• Search for any materials related to smoking (left out cigarettes, matchbox , match sticks, lighter,etc.,) in the room or else in the bathroom.
• Inform the patient with respect regarding the harms of smoking towards his disease condition

• Encourage the client, patient or the relative not to smoke near oxygen cylinder as even a little spark can ignite the materials sooner and lead to fire accidents.A distance of 8 feet has to be maintained.
• Stop oxygen in case of any sparkles around the oxygen cylinder and inform the smokers to leave the patient and restart the oxygen to the patient

7.The role of PSW regarding the client's use of oxygen cylinder are

• Ensure the right quantity of oxygen is delivered
• Monitor the oxygen saturation of the patient
• Remove any inflammable articles around the patient or near the oxygen cylinder
