HELLP syndrome is a rare but serious condition that can happen when you’re pregnant or right after you have your baby. HELLP remains for the diverse things that happen when you have it:

Hemolysis: This is the breakdown of red platelets. These cells convey oxygen from your lungs to your body.

Lifted Liver Enzymes: When levels are high, it could mean there's an issue with your liver.

Low Platelet Count: Platelets enable your blood to cluster.

HELLP disorder causes issues with your blood, liver, and pulse. Whenever left untreated, these issues can hurt you and your infant.

There might be a connection between HELLP disorder and preeclampsia and eclampsia. Preeclampsia is the point at which a pregnant lady has hypertension and harm to different organs, for example, her liver and kidneys. It more often than not begins following 20 weeks of pregnancy. Eclampsia is a more serious type of preeclampsia that incorporates seizures.

HELLP disorder can cause real inconveniences. These include:

• Seizures
• Stroke
• Liver rupture
• Placental abruption
