Answer #1

For Question 1:

Given output/ Sold out Data for a week,

750 Hamburgers,

915 cheeseburgers = “(1.28 X 915) Hamburgers = 1171.2 Hamburgers

510 chicken sandwiches = (0.79 X 510) Hamburgers = 403 Hamburgers

As The restaurant counts a cheeseburger as equivalent to 1.28 hamburgers and chicken sandwiches as 0.79 hamburger.

So, for a week, total Hamburgers = (750 +1171 + 403) Hamburgers = 2324 Hamburgers

Given Input Data for a week,

There are total 8 Employees and each works 40 hours a week,

So Total Input Hours = Number of Employee X Hours per week per Employee = 8 X 40 = 320 Employee Hours

Answer for Question 1:

Productivity for the same week = Output / Input = 2324 Hamburgers / 320 Labor Hours

Productivity for the same week = 7.26 Hamburgers / Labor Hours   (Rounded to 2 decimal places)

For Question 2:

Given output/ Sold out Data for a week,

725 hamburgers,

725 cheeseburgers = (1.28 X 725) hamburgers = 928 hamburgers

and 725 chicken sandwiches = (0.79 X 725) hamburgers = 573 hamburgers

As The restaurant counts a cheeseburger as equivalent to 1.28 hamburgers and chicken sandwiches as 0.79 hamburger.

So, for a week, total Hamburgers = (725 +928 + 573) Hamburgers = 2226 Hamburgers

Given Input Data for a week,

There are total 8 Employees and each works 40 hours a week,

So Total Input Hours = Number of Employee X Hours per week per Employee = 8 X 40 = 320 Employee Hours

Answer for Question 2:

Productivity for the same week = Output / Input = 2226 Hamburgers / 320 Labor Hours

Productivity for the same week = 6.96 Hamburgers/Labor Hours (Rounded to 2 decimal places)
