Potential difference generated (Pd) = BVL

Force = BIL

given power dissipated = I^2*R = 3.9 W

and R = 0.33 Ohm

this gives current = 3.43A

Pd = IR = 3.43*0.33 = 1.1319 V

Also B = F/(IL) = 1.1/(3.43*0.09) = 3.555 T

also V = Pd/(BL) = 1.1319/(3.555*0.09) = 3.537 m/s

Hence (a) V = 3.537m/s

(b) B = 3.555 T
