Answer #1

Unemployment Insurance benefit is the assistance provided by the government for unemployed people who lost their work without their fault.

So under this insurance scheme government will pay every week for an unemployed person and the maximum amount that any person could get is $450 per week. The maximum duration a person can get unemployment insurance benefit is upto 26 weeks.

Whatever the government is paying as unemployment insurance benefit is calculated basing on the salary what they used to earn before. So it is giving more help to unemployed people because so many people are receiving are this benefit.

Only thing that should be removed by the government is that these benefit amount which the unemployed people receive is taxable for 10%. So that amount is withhold while paid to people.

Moreover the government is paying people who are unemployed without their and again keeping taxation on that benefit amount is unacceptable.

Anyhow government will reduce the benefits for those if there is any external income received by these people.
