The First Amendment is common to all of us in our modern United States, but being assured the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom to petition the government to right wrongs was groundbreaking and was debated with great passion in the early days of America. I guess my question is that how can any country fully function legally and lawfully without guaranteeing its citizens these basic human rights?
