19) Hypertrophy means increase in size of the cells while hyperplasia means increase in the number of the cells.Cardiac muscles are terminally differentiated,so they cant divide and give rise to new cells.Hence they cant undergo hyperplasia, thus they undergo hypertrophy.

So answer is C.

20)In an infact,there will be dying and dead cells, I.e. necrotic areas.Apoptosis is programmed cell death, but in this case cells die by necrosis.

So answer is A.
