Some items where Demand is very high because of subjective taste and preferences:
Apple Smartphones,
MS Office products (unless the country has rampant piracy)
Mercedes cars.

Where demand has decreased significantly over the years:
Nokia and Blackberry phones (inability to innovate to smartphones),
Kodak cameras (Decreasing demand for film cameras, innovation to digital cameras)
Radio sets
