Ans) The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable.

- Federal agencies can and must play important roles in many areas as discussed earlier in this chapter. These areas include public health research, development of academic programs, development of faculty, support for students, continuing education, technology development, and modeling.
