Change or evolution is a universal phenomena and it's a vital part present in every living and non living component present in the earth. In the same way trends keep on changing in every working field /department. These changes will positive as well as negative impact .

The current trends in the healthcare sector are :-

- Technology improvement

- patient personalization

- Increasing cost

- Regulatory reforms

- Market forces

- Consumerism

Trends keep on changing , will take time for both the healthcare workers and patients to get accustomed to it . The current trends has both positive and negative mpact on the healthcare delivery system. Positive examples like :-digitalization - use of information technology in healthcare delivery system has made it easy for the staffs to perform their work in less time and appropriately.

Quality care - patient centred care is provided which is based on evidence and feedback is taken from the patient.

Some of the negative impacts like :-

- changes in the regulatory reforms -means the Medicare insurance and policies have undergone some changes in the criteria on the basis of which patient is selected for funding because of which patients who are needy are not getting financial support and are unable to get healthcare services.

- Due to the development in the healthcare industry , the cost of healthcare services are increasing day by day .

- The trends are changing ,but there are some places or regions which does not have even basic healthcare facilities . More focus is given to the developed area.

In my own setting where I work is a private hospital , its very difficult for the patients who belong to middle and low class to pay for the services what they get, because many of the times the insurance people don't include the disease criteria of patient in the list of financial support.

Most of the times patients are not able to get the treatment and they end up in sequelae.

Healthcare development is occurring but it's not complete until it makes it possible for the common public to get the health care services at affordable price.
