The answer is( A ). Adenosine is the primary drug of choice in the management of SVT.

B. Norepinephrine is plain wrong, as it will cause an increase in HR and CO (cardiac output). It is indicated in cardiac arrest and Hypotension Associated with Septic Shock. Although it causes reflex bradycardia it is not used in the management of SVT.

C Lidocaine is not used in the management of SVT. It is used in the management of Ventricular Arrhythmias. Or Pulseless ventricular tachycardia. Some sources say that it is contraindicated in SVT.

D, amiodarone can also be used in the management of SVT, but it is not the first line of treatment in practice. Although studies have concluded and proven that it is also an effective Rx for SVT.
