Jain are very particular about the food they eat.All the Jains follow non violence and so they are vegans.They even do not consume some of the roots and fruits in their food.They do not drink milk and also dairy products as they were the products from animals.They avoid underground rooted foods such as potato, garlic and onions.They even exclude green leafy vegetables during particular months.Jains are considered to be the originators of non violence.According to Jain culture they do not eat or consume four types of food. They are wine, flesh, butter and honey.So it's their culture which they give importance respect to their beliefs.This food pattern of Mains speaks about multiple diversity in their culture and beliefs.They separate themselves as a disciplined followers of their principles.The principle of non violence is strictly followed in the daily routine.

So , Its an individual right to be very strict to the principles and behave in the way to get them selves avoided from being voilated.Because , Its their own culture and belief.Also the best part of every life is to be guided in the way having certain boundaries which makes human disciplined and systematic.Thus every individual had the right to be protected them selves.

The cafeteria has to maintain a Menu card listing a dish and a small description of the contents used in it.So that not only Jains also people who are allergic to certain products or who do not consume certain foods can be aware of the items that are used.
