Answer #1

(a)When n=4 the number of electrons are 2n^2=2*4^2= 32

(b) when n= 2 ,l= 2 then it is d orbital and the number of electrons are 10

(c) when n=4,l=0 then it is s orbital and for ml=0 then the number of electrons are 2.

(d) when n=3 the maximum number of electrons are 2n^2=2*3^2=18.

(e) when n=2,l=1,ml=-1,ms=-(1/2) it has only one electron.
