Direction of the electric field at the point from each source is as shown

we take +x to the right and +y to the top of the page

Field from 10nC E+10 = 9.0E+9 *10E-9 /(42+22)E-4

= 4.5 E+4 N/C

x-comp = 4.5E+4 Cos(63) = 2.043E+4 N/C

y -comp = -4.5E+4 Sin(63) = -4.01 E+4 N/C

field from +5 nC E+5 = 9.0E+9 * 5E-9 /(22)E-4

= 11.25 E+4 N/C ( +x direction)

field from -5 nC E-5 = 9.0E+9 * 5E-9 /(52)E-4

= 1.8 E+4 N/C ( +y direction )

Total x-comp = 2.043E+4 +11.25E+4 = 13.293 E+4 N/C

Total y-comp = -4.01E+4 + 1.8 E+4 = -2.21E+4 N/C

mag of the field = 13.48 E+4 N/C

direction = arcTan( -2.21/13.293) = -9.44o with +x-axis
