Allocation means distribution .

if we talk in general meaning then allocation of resources means the the proper distribution of the scarce resources so that the people get its maximum benefit .

as we all know that resources are scarce for any economy and we have to make optimum choice from that to have efficient outcome .

It is not related with the fruit production and distribution and do not ensure that every members of society are satisfied from it .

the distribution should be done in such a way that people should get maximum benefit from the limited resources .

so the only option true is option D
