Keratolytic agents are used to control inflammation and supress rapid turnover of epidermal cells. These drugs are thining the outerlayer of the skin and around the lesion. And lessen the swelling and shed off.

Keratolytics include salicylic acid, alkali, urea, lactic acid, allantoin, glycolic acid and tricholroacetic acid. These medications available in the form topical applicants.
