My company had 320,000 outstanding shares already, and then on January 1st we issued an additional 25,600. On Nov. 15 we bought back 8000 shares. My net income is $643,555. What is my EPS and diluted EPS?

Weighted average outstanding shares = 320000+25600 - 8000*1.5/12

= 344600 shares

EPS = Net income / Weighted average outstanding shares

= 643555 / 344600

= $1.87 per share

Diluted EPS = $1.87 per share
