Volume of solution = 489 mL

%(v/v) = (volume of solute x 100)/volume of solution

           = (17.1 mL x 100)/489 mL

           = 3.50 %

Volume of solution = 213 mL

%(v/v) = (volume of solute x 100)/volume of solution

           = (77.9 mL x 100)/213 mL

           = 36.6 %
