Healthcare system in Jamaica includes 18 General and 6 Specialist hospitals,331 primary healthcare clinics, and public health system. Health services in Jamaica is available for free of cost for citizens and legal residents. Medical insurance are available for the patients and doctors and physicians are available till the funds and insurances cover the cost. The laws and regulations related to health care system are Public Health Act,Revision of the Health service Act,National Health service Act. Health services improved by decentralisation through increased allocation and technical efficiency. The quantity and quality of care increased by improved health interventions.
