Solution -

Initially the object at x = 2 cm and it's mean position is at X equals to zero so in the simple harmonic motion the speed is maximum when the object passes through its mean position and speed is zero when it is at extreme position so here the speed will be maximum when first the object will be at X equals to zero means means position .

So X equals to zero will be first at t equals to 1 second .

Hence the speed will be maximum first time at t equals to 1 second.
