The risk taking willingness of men and women are completely different. Men are willing to take more risks than women in any field.

In risk taking men will think straight forward with an attitude that whatever happens it will happen. They will go by feeling rather calculation. Women are some what different they will take only calculated risks after an analysis which they try to understand. Men wanted to prove themselves in this male dominated society. Women always try to work rather than showing of their achievements in the society. Men wants to handle things in their own way. Women handles things in a way which is comfortable to everyone.

Men think taking risks show them an daring decision maker. Women think risk should be taken only when it is necessary.

It is relevant to economic course because there are both men and women who are doing business, working as policy makers and many more which directly effect the economy.
