Answer #1

Here, potassium is 5.1 meq/l which is in an acceptable range.

The sodium level is 128 meq/l which means it is decreased and its indication of hyponatremia. It is not a feature of AKI.

pH is 7.5 which indicates alkalosis but in AKI patients are more likely to develop acidosis.

There is only on value left, that is BUN(Blood urea nitrogen). Its normal value is 7 to 20 mg/dl but here it increases to 30 mg/dl. Which indicating AKI(Acute kidney injury). Urea is the waste product that produces during protein metabolism in the liver. Urea is excreted by kidneys in the urine. If kidneys are not functioning properly due to diseases like AKI or CKD, then there is no urine production or decreased urine production. Which increases the amount of BUN in the blood.

Answer - BUN of 30 mg/dl.
