Answer: Patient satisfaction is one of the major concern of healthcare professionals. The interdisciplinary approach can influence the patient satisfaction level by various ways. Because in an interdisciplinary approach, there is a group of health care professionals from diverse fields who work in a coordination toward a common goal for the patient and also make decisions and share resources and responsibilities. Older people in hospitals often have a number of different diagnoses and consequently have multiple and complex needs, so the team members look into the matter and try to treat the patient as well as provide multiple care to the patients. It is a patient's centered practice where their main aim is to provide quality treatment as well as care to the patients.

With many benefits there are some disadvantages as it is a multiple work and a teamwork, the members sometimes may have different opinions regarding the case. Sometimes there could be conflict regarding the way of treatment because every member is highly skilled and maybe at some point one person may not agree with the decision of the others.
