Devices per day after fall = 50*80% = 40

Variable cost per unit = 10,000/50 = $200

Hence, profit per day = (Sales - variable costs - Fixed costs)

= (800-200)*40 - 20,000

= $4000

Note: Fixed costs do not change with change in level of operations
