Basic ways to cite medical articles in APA format relates to knowing medical terminology are as follows:-

- The author or authors.The surname should be followed by first initials.

- Year of the publication of the article (in the round brackets)

--Article title

-Journal title (in italics)

- Volume of the Journal (in italics)

- Issue number of Journal in round brackets (No italics)

- Page range of article

- DOI (Digital Object Indentifier):- It is a unique , permanent identification number that will take straight to a document where it is located on the internet.

- The first line of each citation is left adjusted .Every subsequent line is indented 5- 7 spaces.
