No, as centripital force acts towards the center of the circular path while the centrifugal force is apposite, it try to pull the object away from the center of the circular path.

This implies that the centrifugal force is opposite to the centripital force and keeps the body intact on a circular track.

So they can not acts as an alternative for each other.
