To what extent should there be public regulation and monitoring (eg not advertising, or putting limits on advertising, unhealthy foods and alcohol) versus private sector self-regulation and monitoring (where industry voluntarily regulates itself in the interests of public health) to prevent non-communicable diseases and their risk factors? Why? What are the tensions in achieving accountability to the public when it comes to policy?

Private sector contribution in preventing non communicable diseases is a crucial role for providing healthy lives and wellbeing..They serve political commitment and investment to meet the target..They invest annual cost, additional health workers,opening health center's ,equipment , medicine,training, programs etc..public - private partnership made more capital needs support for delivering high quality health care..They focus on low-income, low margin and high volume markets countries..They made efforts preventing risk factors for chronic diseases in low income countries by doing early detection,screening, treatment, awareness etc....

There is considerable tension among policy and strategies.. Evidence--based approaches to public health improvement,lowering health inequalities, public and Patient engagement unintended effect on public health policy.. public and patient engagement,can achieve the evidence based policy..
