None of them can be throughn out or dumped down the drain as they contain hazardous and chemically toxic substances. So it's better to use safety hacks like expired medicines can be given back to pharmacy so that they can take care of them and dispose it in a right way and for batteries we can give them back to the battery shops so that they can dispose them in safety manner in order to decrease the toxicity to the enivornment and to living beings.  

Therefore correct option will be.

D) NONE OF THE ABOVE
