2) nurse should roll the vial between palms of the hands as nph is in suspension form so rubbing result in uniform dispersion of drug in the vial.

3) sugar should be checked at 1600 as novolin r is short acting insulin that starts working after 30 min of administration n effect lasts for 8 hrs
