• It helps promotion of health.
• It helps in preventing certain illneses.
• Helps curing certain disease and medical condition.
• It gives primary care.
• It helps in studying epidemic of certain diseases.
• It is also cost-effective.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CLINIC :

• There are different kind of clinics and the care is according to the respective clinics, however, in general acute conditions are treated at clinic.
• Primary care such as frist aid care are given.
• Usually flu shots and tetanus toxoid injections are also given at clinics.
• Health promotions such as awareness programs also happens at the clinic.

WHO WORKS THERE AND WHAT IS HIS/HER JOB AND THEIR SPECIAL TOOL :

Doctors/Physicians : Their job is to assist the patient's condition, perform physical examination, and recommend certain medications or drugs according to their condition, they also sometimes refer to the specialists.

TOOLS : Stethoscope, torch, gloves, proctoscope in case of rectal examinations, pen, notepad, a tablet or any electrical device.

NURSES :Their job is to greet the patient, make them comfortable, assess physical examination, build interpersonal relationships, provide health education to the patient, administer medication prescribed by the physician, follow rights of drug administrations.

TOOLS : Stethoscope, torch, tuning fork, measuring tape, height scale, weight machine, tuning fork, pen, electrical device to store patient's record, gloves.

RECEPTIONISTS : The main job of a receptionist is to greet the patient, ask fort the recommended specialist, receive appointments for the doctor, inform physician regarding appointments, receive emergency calls and inform to physician.

IF CLINIC DID NOT EXIST IN THE COMMUNITY :

• There would not be any surveys therefore it would be difficult to study the population.
• People would not be able to afford primary care.
• Number of certain medical conditions would rise.
• There would be lack of health awareness.
• Prevention of certain medical conditions which could be avoided would occur.
