1.management is Goal oriented:

It is concerned with the achievement of predetermined objectives of an organisation.

2.Management implies good leadership:

According to Davis -"management is the function of executive leadership everywhere."

3. Management is dynamic:

Principles of management are dynamic not static. It has to adopt itself according to social change.

4.Management is a profession:

It is a profession because there are established principles of management which are being applied in practice.

5.Management need not be owner:

It is not necessary that managers are owner of the enterprise.In joint stock companies, management and owner are different entities.

6Management is intangible:

It can not be seen with the eyes.Its evidences only by quality of the organization and the results.

7. Management is Pervasive:

Use of management is not restricted to business firms only.it is applicable to profit - making,non profit making,business or non business organization;even a hospital, school,club and house has to be managed properly.
