Answer #1

Answer: A genetic predisposition can be defined as a genetic characteristic which influences the possible relation to the observable characteristics of an individual resulting from the interaction of its genotype with the environment and development of an individual organism within a species or population under the influence of environmental conditions. In simple word we can explain it as chance of developing a particular disease due to the presence of one or more gene mutations and/or a family history that indicates an increased risk of the disease. For example we can consider that cancer, if a person has family history of cancer then he is more prone to the cancer.
