Question 1.
(i) If 50 mL of NaOH solution is more than the needed, the titration is overdone, and the overall solution becomes too much basic.
(ii) If 50 mL of NaOH solution is less than the required, the titration doesn't reach the endpoint because it is incomplete.
1. While titrating, a student added 50 mL of NaOH solution without ever seeing a color...
Buffer Practice 1.) You wish to prepare 750 mL of a buffer solution of pH = 7.00 and you decide to use NaH2PO4 as the acid, K2 = 6.2 x 10. You have on hand a 0.175 M solution of this acid. Kai = 7.5 x 103, Ka2 = 6.2 x 10-8, K3 = 4.2 x 10-13 a.) Calculate the pH of the NaH2PO4 solution. b.) Calculate the grams of Na2HPO4 that need to be added to 750 mL of...
For the preparation and standardization of NaOH with KHP im supposed to boil water for 1hr and 30 min to remove CO2....the problem is that if I don't boil it for that long and (30 min) b/c of not enough time but I put the water I boiled for 1/2 hr aproximately into a NaOH bottle with a CO2 absorber and stored it there for a few days. I would assume that I would have to boil the water again...but...
