1. In general if you are using acids in the experiment, if it is strong acid it may cause burn injuries. If you are using strong base, it is highly corrosive to eyes and skin. Eye contact with bases may causes blindness. If you are using benzene in the experiment, it is hazardous to health as it is carcinogenic. If you are using cyanide, it is poisonous chemical and so on.

2. (a) A strong acid is defined as an acid that completely dissociates in an aqueous solution. Example include hydrochloric acid HCl

(b) A weak acid is an acid that is partially dissociated in an aqueous solution. Example is methanoic acid HCO2H

(c) Strong base is completely dissociated in an aqueous solution. Example is sodium hydroxide NaOH.

(d) Weak base does not ionize fully in aqueous solution. Example is trimethyl ammonia N(CH3)3
