In my opinion the main reason is life style changes, in some countries men has the habit of smoking than women which leads to chronic diseases thus decrease life span .Men are more likely to take risk in their life leading to life threatening injuries. It is believed that estrogen level in females reduce risk of cholesterol in women and also they have more immune power than men .
