How do you think the tournament structure pay for a sport like the America's Cup works? The America's Cup is the biggest event in sailing. It involves expensive sail boats and it takes place in the ocean at relatively fast speeds. Compared to sports such as NASCAR and golf, how do you think the pay for this sport should be structured? Why? What key factors do you believe influence the pay for 1st place vs. 2nd place etc.?

Americas cup is differently conducted sport in which participants pay the fees as group for sailing contest depending on number of hours and winners get prize money from total collected fees.

Sports like NASCAR adopts franchisee model where players play for teams and get match fees and winnibg amounts.

Similarly such sports should be structured in franchise model which attracts more competitive talent based on auctions and much better crowd attraction which generates better prize money and endorsement .

Factors which influence top position is speed and distance covered in shortest time.
