In the following study the researcher was interested in how scholastic perfomance was affected by: 1: the presence of a tutor, and 2: the use of a course text. 1. From the mean values above, its clear that students with both texts and teachers performed really well in the tests and those who had no text or teachers were poor performers.

2. It is also noted that teachers had more effect on the performance on the students than the textbooks. It is evident from the mean values of the both cases.

3. The difficulty of the test also increased from test 1 to test 2. Test 1 seems to be very difficult compared to the subsequent two tests.
