I.e 2000ml in 48 hours so, hourly rate will be

2000ml\div 48hr = 41.66ml/hr

Answer - The hourly rate will be 41.66 ml

hourly rate will be

300ml\div 6hr = 50ml/hr

Answer - 50 ml is the hourly rate.

The doctor's order says 100 mL Ceftriaxone Sodium 1G to infuse over 30 minutes.

the rate in 60 minutes is

100ml will infuse in 30min \times 2 times = 200ml

Answer -200ml is the hourly rate

Drop factor formula is = (Total volume in ml \div Time in Minutes)\timesDrop factor
