What is the best definition for Joule (1 J = 1 kg x m2/s2):

Group of answer choices

Joule (J) is the amount of energy of a mass moving constantly.

Joule (J) is the amount of energy of a 1 kg mass moving at a speed of 1 m/s.

Joule (J) is the amount of energy of any mass moving at a speed of 1 m/s.

Joule (J) is the amount of energy of a 2 kg mass moving at a speed of 1 m/s.

Answer #1

Kinetic energy is defined as:
KE = 0.5*m*v^2

So, KE is 1 J for 2 mass of 1 Kg moving with speed of 1 m/s
In this case:
KE = 0.5*(2 Kg)*(1 m/s)^2
= 1 Kg.m^2/s^2
= 1 J

Answer:
Joule (J) is the amount of energy of a 2 kg mass moving at a speed of 1 m/s.
